After several very tight moments during the last day of the open Finnish Offshore Championships in Helsinki, we finally managed to secure hold of the Gold Medal! Our victory was secured with the smallest possible margins to both Fortina Fun, who took the Silver Medal and Merinna, who finished third. As a matter of fact, if Merinna had sailed one second faster in the second W/L-race (Race 3) giving them first place together with Fortina Fun, they had got the Gold Medal! Tarantella would have fallen to Silver and Fortina Fun to Bronze. This is incredible little considering that we sailed more than 25 hours alltogether. Tighter than that it cannot be. Silva-traces are in our Gallery .

This race has more or less been the only one in our region that we have not yet won, so now it might be a good time to retire for another 10 years or so...

An unbeaten trackrecord for the seaon continues as we have won all the races we've participated in so far (see below). More on this later. Results can be found at Pictures to come, meanwhile check out our crew member Juhanas photos on Picasa-web.
